So I was helping a friend clean husband beach house. Out side in about 3 inches of clay. I found this coin. It was found directly in old salem village by a place where a train used to travel by directly in front of the water. I have asked several people no one knows what the hell it is. This was not in the harbor but where the old harbor port was. It looks to be Lead and copper. It's exxtemly heavy for its size. The other side is flat like coin But is unreadable.

It is a bag seal. After a bag of grain was filled and weighed a seal was affixed to the draw strings to keep it from being opened and some of the grain taken out.
