So I am having a disagreement with my electrical technician about this lamp. I think its 1930s-1940s and he swears its 1970s-1980s. I was also wondering if this is a certain style. I have never seen one like it. It stands a little over 2 feet tall and about 1.5 feet wide.

I'd lean towards trusting your electrical technician's opinion -- maybe just *slightly* earlier (late 1960's) if its cord/plug is original, as it appears.

Hello! Did you ever figure out what kind of lamp this is and who the designer is?? I have one that is nearly exactly the same, except it’s cream and it’s in immaculate condition and still works perfectly. I have been very curious to figure out where it is from. We received it from a very old woman who was it’s only owner.

if it was from the 30's and 40's the cord would most likely look like this,..
