I imagine that this is African and quite old. i'd love to know more about it. there are some designs etched and pounded into it which are quite elaborate. it's completely hand-forged. have you seen one like it? where do you think it's from and when was it made? thank you!

Thank you Anik! anybody know what it is? the legs are really tight together and i almost feel like pushing them apart to see if i can get it to stand up, but i think it would break. it's very old.
could this may be a native American figure - like for the Dine? or is that crazy thinking?
