Tom Ackman watercolor

This watercolor is 11" x 14" (opening in the mat). I have not taken it apart, yet. Probably a regional artist, possibly a commercial artist's work as a fine artist. There is a 1977 day and month notation on the backing of the painting. I really like this style of painting. It is a fairly distinct Mid Western style that I think resulted from exposure to watercolors that were done by California watercolorists in the 1940s-1960s. I found nothing about this artist from a quick Google and AskArt.com search.
