Its an acrylic type oil paint on brown/tan paper ? It definitely is old but afraid to take it out of its frame for I might damage it. Any comments or maybe find out who might have painted this wonderful piece of art would be appreciated. Thank you

It has a nice flow. Acrylics were only used by artists starting in the early 1960s. You may have to take it apart to find out more about it. If it has a backing, you can try just removing the backing and see if there is anything on the back of the artwork.

BTW, oil paint and acrylic paint are not the same thing. There is no such thing as acrylic oil paint.
