Cute Little Bonsai Pot with odd mark on the base

I think this might be Mexican, but that mark/signature/monogram is kind of odd for a Mexican piece. But the decoration definitely looks Mexican. although they are sensible gardeners so they usually have much larger drainage holes. ??
