    I found this chair at a garage sale and was wondering what style it was and age. It has burl wood on it in 2 different area along the top bar and a bar right below the seat. Thanks for any help you can give me !!!!!f

      It looks like they tried to make an eastlake chair, but a lot of makers were putting their own ideas here, which I like, a lot of traditional details added.

      Possibly later 19th century early 1870's, but they made this style into the 20th century also !~
