Hi everyone,
I just got back from my vacation to the USA. During my vacation I visited a few thrift shops and garage sales.
This pair of Earring jackets was one of my finds. They are marked 14K NW?.
I know GP, RGP en GF. But I cannot find what 14K NW? means. Can someone help me?
Beautiful heart shape design
Beautiful & Gorgeous condition too !~
These earring jackets appear to be genuine 14k gold signed NW for a well known Finland jewelry designer by the name of Nils Westerback. May be worth your while testing the gold and stones (could possibly be diamonds). If so, you may have a valuable find! Best of luck.
I think it is not from Nils Westerback, unfortunately. Nils Westerback is from Finland and his master mark is different. In addition, the mark for gold in Finland is 585 and these are marked 14k.
I cannot help with NW either but I think you made a super nice find.
My wedding ring is made like that with diamonds set in a row, recessed in the gold. Please have a jeweler check it out- I think they are diamonds set in 14k gold.
Maybe the jeweler will know what NW stands for- probably the designer.
Pretty sure that the NW is the makers trademark.
Both metal and stones look like the real deal! great find.
