I think this is supposed to be a he/she penguin set. He is 3 5/8" tall and she is 3 1/2" tall. Luckily they did not get separated in thrift shop land. I've had these for several years, but never found anything out about them or anything else in their style. Guessing they are from a West Virginia glass studio. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Posting a lot today, as I am trying to avoid getting on the roof of my house to cut down some overhanging tree limbs. Spent a couple of hours on it last night and got the easy part done.

Ha Ha Ha! We got several jobs waiting for the guy wearing pants to do, inside and out. Some I have been waiting for years.... but I'm not giving up. There always comes a time when he wants something right now!

Love the penguins and the green glass color. Not sure either who made them. :-)

@truthordare. Sigh. I finally ran out of excuses and spent a couple of hours on the roof with a pole saw and trimmer. Probably need to spend a few more. Not sure I want to violate the oath and give you the secret series of words that work every time to get us on the roof, etc. I'd probably lose my union badge.

Thanks for loving my penguins. These have kind of a Pilgrim Glass feel to me....

Love it! One thing works for me is 'ok, I will do it then', 'noooooo, you can't'. ;-)
I can ask a UK glass figurine collector if she knows.

I have one of these. mine is black with a brown speckle on the bottom. I too have been clueless. Thought it was Murano but it does'nt fit their design. Love yours.

I found another one of these in bluish lavender just smaller than the shorter of my two green ones. I also found a seller on ebay who is selling these and other designs that are similar and they say they are made in China by the "US Commemorative Fine Art Gallery". Sigh. I hope my American made glass doesn't kick them out of my china cabinet.
