1880's? Romodka Brothers Barrel top Trunk

Some nice hardware on this Romodka Brothers Barrel top Trunk not exactly sure of the decade to place it in 80's or 90's. This one measures 32 long x 20 deep x 27 tall to the highest point. This was a poor attempt for restoration but I am sure can be corrected. It has the back hinges with lid stay built in. The front corner shoulders have the latch mechanism built in as well, hence the lack of normal latches one would find on a trunk. At first I didn't know what to make of that omission of the latches until I read trunkmans description for the almost exact same trunk, but there are some subtle differences that separate the two. No original interior really to speak of but for the one remaining top tray hinge still fixed in place.
