A lovely 9ct gold Maltese Cross or is it ? The hallmarks baffle me. I am not sure if it's Irish or assayed in Ireland. Please help, you hallmark gurus. Neil

Appreciate the love aura, and vetraio50 and kwqd . Neil
This is really beautiful Neil, and yes the 9.375 is for 9ct gold. I can't make out the other hallmarks or the maker's mark, hopefully someone else will be able to help:-)
Thanks Tassiedevil the top one is for Ireland but according to hall mark wizard the 375 should have scales either side but it hasn't, that's what is confusing me. Neil
Hi Neil, from memory the scales are a control mark so that pieces made in other countries with this scales mark stamped, can be sold in the UK with out going through the Birmingham assay office as well......hope that makes sense!
Maybe send an email to the Dublin assay office.....might help:-)
Yup - Maltese cross.
Thank you Jenni for the love sorry it's a bit late. Neil
