This is a Colonial Blue Hobnail Apothecary Jar, introduced Jan. 1964; discontinued July 1968. Original Fenton Ware # 3689-CB. Approx. 5" diameter x 11" tall and 8.5" without the lid. The Colonial Blue was made for the shortest period of time. I once had one in green, too, but it was broken. I like the Colonial Blue because from some angles the blue is so deep it looks like purple. In real life, the entire jar is deep blue.
@Brunswick. I really like the feel of hobnail, too. My impetus to start collecting glass was several inherited pieces of Fenton hobnail milk glass that was my grandmother's and then my mother's. I will be posting a tall Fenton milk glass hobnail vase, soon, if no one has posted one before. Never seen this tall vase before.
