I have been hunting around charity shops looking for broken china to use in a mosaic and I found this lovely piece for next to nothing, but once I got it home I decided it is too pretty for me to break up! Guess I now own a broken tea cup! If anyone could tell me any information on this piece (if you tell me it is modern, mass produced and not worth a thing, maybe I would feel less bad about breaking it up or I may end up end up collecting them it really could go either way!) I would be most grateful.

It is beautiful. The markings are rubbed but you are right to have kept it.
