    Anyone know about this? Looks like sterling, the details are amazing, it's a belt, the smaller sections are stamped with an S in a circle within a shield. Chinese export?

      I tested it and it is silver, possibly 950

      kyratango is not on the site much lately, as she is probably the only one who I know who might know more on the piece.

      Wow! Such work went in this!
      Usually Chinese export is marked China, silver, eventually some characters for the maker. This mark has a modern occidental look, but I'm pretty sure it is an old Chinese piece (not mid century).
      What are the mesurements? A pic of back of the clasp with closure may help...

      Thanx for the help Kyra! It's 32" long and the buckle part is 3"X2 1/4"
