    Silver Charm Bracelet
    Aquired early August 2018

This is a silver charm bracelet which I aquired this week from auction July 29, 2018, from an auction in Edmonton which I like to buy from. I buy these for my sister and hopefully can find a nice gold one, one of these days. I give them as part of presents for birthday or Christmas. Previously last year in October my sister was here and I gave her one with many charms on it. I prefer these ones which define what the person who owned them liked in terms of single charms. This auction seems to get them fairly often in the last 3 auctions so I should not have to go far to aquire these.

I know nothing about these bracelets other than they seemed popular from 40's to 1980 or so, possibly. Also this seems to be the best bracelet style that I have seen. I try not to buy the real plain ones. I really know nothing other than that about them.

Phil this is a gorgeous one, you chose well and your sister will be thrilled! I remember relatives who had charm bracelets in the 60s-70s, each charm would commemorate an event in the person's life - for example this bracelet has many travel icons, the anchor & heart either means she loved boating or someone she loved was in the Navy, and either herself or a loved one was a Capricorn (the blue goat) - fascinating & delightful to decipher

Gorgeous ! I love charm bracelets and had one of my life in sterling silver charms . Each charm represented a person in my life and important dates in my life
. I guess I had about 75 charms to heavy to wear so it went into a jewelry display box and a few years ago I gave it to a family member so it would stay in family :-) I kept a few old charm bracelets that were not my personal ones but came loaded already . They seemed to fade from popularity for awhile but are back and I am glad to see yours Phil :-) xoxo

This is a great piece! These can get up into the high dollar mark for sure. While at the swapmeet a few years back, my friend had one he sold to a lady for $5.00, that's when I took over for him ;) After he saw me getting the prices these pieces commanded, he turned them all over to me.
