Since I was guilty of perpetuating the bad habit in a comment recently and since it doesn't seem to have been addressed in this forum, I thought I might try to offer some retribution. Bimini has been the generic name for this sort of glassware and it probably shouldn't be. Lauscha is generic enough, being the name of a town with a long tradition of making lampwork glass baubles and many workshops. Bimini is specific. It stopped being made in 1939 and has been imitated ever since. These pieces are not really even imitative of Bimini and deserve to be referred to as Lauscha.
The tallest vase, with the blue spots, stands just 4 3/4" (11.8 cm) tall. The vases with the threading stand 4 3/8" (10.9 cm) and 3 1/8" tall. The multicolor swirl piece was probably a scent bottle that has lost its cap. These pieces probably represent three different Lauscha workshops but one thing for sure - they are not Bimini.
