    I've never came a crossed a gumball machine like this before could someone tell me how old it is and what its worth. Serial # is 82243A

      It's an Acorn. My favorite gumball machine. I have several of them. The shape of the chute cover (flap) indicates that it is an older one. The company that makes them is called Oak. So they're often referred to as Oak Acorns. The chrome parts on your machine seem to be in pretty good shape. Nice find.
