Can anybody help me determine who made this machine? All I know is it is a treadle. It has US parts on it with patent applied for on the throat plate. I was told it might have come from Germany.

My grandmother in Oklahoma had one, it wasn't as ornate as this one. When I was young I would crawl under it and manipulate the treadle rapidly with my hands, it's unbelievable how fast the thing would would run! They built these things to last forever.
