This was an $8.43 at a half off sale in a thrift shop today. It is 9 5/8" high x 4 3/4" in diameter. The label says "<Pilgrim logo>Pilgrim Cranberry Glass - Handmade with gold in the USA". Even the bottom is gorgeous, with a swirl pattern. Not sure how they did that! This is the tallest Pilgrim vase that I have seen in person. Very striking color and design. My favorite find of the day in a day where I made a half dozen great finds. It makes more of a gong sound than a bell sound when flicked.
Apparently, this is called a "Cranberry Optic Iconic" vase.
yes, this US glass company had a great production of cranberry glass during the 1970s, I happened to buy some without knowing what it was. Which turned into a lesson about it. Very nice find.
