This kind of MCM wire ware craft must have a name, but i don't know what it is. kind of remotely reminds me of Hagenauer - which i love and cannot afford! any info appreciated.

I've seen similar things with figures etc. But don't know what they're called.

A lot of them were called balance toys but I am not sure if this is one of them.

It looks to me to be a balance toy too, had one very similar during the early 80s

thanks Toyrebel, Phil, Gc1975, and mp.kunst! yes, it is a balance toy - part of one anyways. this one is an original - not a repro - probably 70s. i might buy one on the above link - very reasonable and put mine on the retro base.

I just love balance toys, have seen some on this site, but not too many unfortunately, this was beautiful and popular in the 70's when I had a small collection and miss them every day, well close !~

The new ones are quite small whereas the older ones were mostly around 7-8 inches high !~
