I've been in "hiatus" for a little while helping my son with his new house and trying to finish various other half baked...er..half finished projects that just seem to hang around in the dark corners of my house. Flea markets have been hit-and-miss in regard to finding great things. This 1950s tray came home with me this afternoon from a local thrift shop. I also went to Belgium with a friend to a flea market. I only found one thing - a 9KT gold ring which I will post later. In a different thrift shop, I bought some nice silver earrings and a beautiful sterling silver collier which will also be posted along with the ring.

reminds me of an american version of Fornasetti in the 50s.
