I have been looking for one of these tall cobalt Indiana Glass vases. I knew they were made in this size, but have never actually seen one until today. Also, over the past couple of weeks, I have been eyeballing the other vase, but couldn't figure out if it was "Made in China" or not. That was resolved today when I compared it to the cobalt which was sitting close by. The details were identical, so I figured it must also be made by Indiana Glass and when I got home, I found similar examples on ebay. I had not known IG made vases like this. These are still somewhat common and, as can be seen by the price tag, not high end glass, but still very nice and this post will serve to document them. The cobalt vase is 11" tall and the other vase is 10.75" tall. I think the standard round IG label is under the larger label on the cobalt vase. Also, note the black background behind the white/gray vase. I solved my problem with yellowish whites by swapping out my fluorescent bulbs in my chandelier with LED bulbs and using a black art board as a background. I will redo all of my milk glass photos, now. (The Leinenkugel sacrificed its life in the making of this post.)
A moment of silence for Leinenkugel. A dead soldier for art. R.I.P..

Thanks Karen! This is never going to be valuable glass, but it is interesting to see the variety Indiana Glass made toward the end.
Thank you Thomas and Vynil33rpm!
