    i found this large trinket box today. i think it might be a souvenir from a conference - possibly related to UC Berkeley - which explains the grizzly bear. it's 5 inches across and 2.5 inches high. i wonder what the interior 'Mural Room' means?

      i think that this was a gift to donors of the drive to restore the Mural Room in the Sta Barbara County Courthouse.

      I can add that it was probably a commission to a Taiwan cloisonne company, this is their style of applied twisted wire and heated enamel decorations. Thanks for posting it.
