Bought this at the Long Beach Antique Flea Market for $5. I am not a big Planet of the Apes fan (which in this case means not a big fan but do not dislike it). But it is a nice looking vintage box from the 70s. It does have a partial model.
This seems to be similar to the 1:13th scale models by Aurora which were also snap together. They look better when glue is used as the parts fit rather loosely.
I do not recall the Addar Products Corp. Most products like these were made by companies like Aroura or MPC. Does not seem like Addar lasted long.

Very nice . Love the planet of the apes movies at least the first three . That should be a great collectible piece .

Looks like Addar was indeed an attempt to resurrect Aurora. Sadly it did not last long.
