The Compact Collection

So,....today being my birthday I awoke this morning to find a little black velvet pouch awaiting me, given to me by my Grandmother. In this pouch was THE most adorable and unusual compact mirror I've ever seen- a tiny bright green frog!
I'm not sure where she got it from but all I know is that she really knows me and knows what I love and collect. Aside from loving and collecting little animal sculptors- frogs and compact mirrors are another of my big loves! So of course when she seen a combination of the two she had to get it for me!
This is the 14th compact mirror in my collection so far and also probably my favourite.....other favourites include the little cream one with the crown, the green and black striped one, the black floral with the handle and the light pink Paris one- that was a gift from my Aunt when she visited Paris. As for the cost of the frog compact mirror I don't know, but the rest were mostly found in charity shops and cost from €2-€4 ($2.29- $4.58/ £1.80- £3.59)
