I, like many of you Czech glass collectors, am not especially fond of baskets but this one was ridiculously cheap and there was a surprise on the underside.
Basket is 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) tall at the top of the handle, roughly 4" (10 cm) across the top of the cup, and has a 2" (5 cm) foot.

I too would have bought this basket, had I seen it in the same circumstances!
I would only have taken it if forced* to do so at gunpoint *(I have a gun I can loan you if you don't have one). Seriously, though, who wouldn't want this nice basket?
Most of us 'secretly' have baskets Harry... there's no shame...

This is a fine specimen & I definitely would have put it in my shopping basket had I been lucky enough to see it! Well done on a very nice buy!

LOL I go to my friends shop and for a year he tried to sell me a basket and I told him I don't do baskets ...lol he snuck it in a box of glass I bought few weeks back next time I went to his shop I brought him a coffee ...funny guy.. nice post , nice find..
