    I can not find any info on this tool box. It has a name stamped in 1” letters across top on inside of cover. l.UHLRMAYER. I can not find one on line I got it from my dad , from his shop I place at 100 years old Help if you can. Thanks

      There were a number of companies that made machinist's boxes & plans were available for individuals to make their own. Thought about making one many times. Now it's too late.

      That is a very good looking and ornate machinist tool chest. I agree that it's over 100 years old. I've been researching these old style chests and I've not seen one like yours and do not know what company it was made by.
      Trying to i.d. these old style machinist tool chests can be a very confusing subject. That's why I've decided not to add them to my site - https://sites.google.com/site/theguideforwoodmachinistchests/
