Here are some new pieces that I need to share from the last few weeks. Franz Welz produced beautiful glass with cut-off the tops, glass with a Pontil and these with no pontil or cut-off top.... talk about technological advances!
I have in other posts referred to them as umbrella shapes because they are blown from the top and transferred into a mold at the bottom, then the rim and interior protrusions are formed (from the inside like an umbrella)
1. This cup is 4" with yellow lines and green adventurine powders
2. This cup is 5" with orange lines and gold confetti
3. This bowl is 6" and has a crystal base with confetti. The outside of the piece is ribbed using a mold
4. This last 5" cup is in a beautiful confetti pattern. I have seen these exact colors with a crystal base or as seen here with a white base
ingenious work so fascinating love them !!!!!!!!
thanks for sharing jericho
