We bought a house in Chicago in 1999. In the basement, there was an old refrigerator. It worked fine. We used it for extra refrigerator space for 12 yrs. To me, it was a piece of junk that pulled alot of electricity. I had no idea that there would be a huge wave of interest in retro appliances until I watched American Pickers (As well as all of the other shows on the history channel.) I'm not sure what to do with it, we don't use it anymore. But, thanks to your show, I know NOT to kick it to the curb! Thanks for the History lesson.
