I was given this as a gift from a friend who bought at an auction. I would like to know more about it.
The only markings that I found, I had to use a magnifying glass to find. Yes the markings were that small. This weighs 10 pounds is
18 inches wide 10 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches deep. also the ears have multicolored glass stones in them. The writing seems to be Thai but not sure and may possibly be backwards. Any information or if you know the markings would be greatly appreciated.

The written language appears to be Thai.

I used to be able to read this, but 40 years have passed and my memory fails me. Probably a tourist item made of teak. Is it heavy?
    4. kwqd kwqd, 6 years ago
Ah, yes, 10 pounds, probably teak.

I have several carved teak statues that I had shipped back to the States or that were shipped in my hold baggage when I rotated back.

Thank you, kwqd, I was wondering if it was a tourist piece. I love it .
