I believe my in-laws used this trunk for a move to South America around 1950. I think they would have purchased it around that time but I am not sure if they bought it new or if it was used. Can anyone help with how old this trunk might be? I note it is more simply constructed than most of the trunks shown on this site. It is large and measures 26" H x 22"W x 43" L.
I have the exact trunk. Mine appears to be in better shape. Curious about the value as well. I do know it came from Italy and it had to have been about 90 years ago when they came to the USA.
