Hi all- Can you help me identify this jacket? It looks like West Point at a glance, however, the label inside does not say West Point like the rest do. The label is on the side, not near the collar. Also, it has different buttons and different cut from Riverside MA or VMI, and their labels are different from mine. Also notice the bottom outer buttons in front and the top inner buttons on the back are flat, not bullet style. The rest are bullet style. Clasp on collar is double loop holes with long metal hook type closures. Small piece of non-wool material behind collar to keep the clasp from rubbing your neck. Material is heavy blue wool with satin lining. Stitching looks hand done in many areas, including button holes. I appreciate any advice!
Certainly looks like it could be a West Point (USMA) Full Dress jacket. This style was worn by many other military schools and is still worn today.
The liner color and label (no cadet store and "MR") would make me think that it was some other school.
Also based on the label, I would think that it is 20th century.

Also, the rank with some sort of racquet or lacrosse stick is not a rank configuration that I would expect to see with USMA.
