I have owned all three pieces for a while. I have always wondered about the brooch and the green ring. The brooch does not have a signature, but the ring has an "S". I do not know what type of stone. The silver frame of the ring looks vintage, the stone has an interior crack. The brooch has a huge amber stone and that's all I know. If you can help out, I would appreciate it.

They spent more money on the yellow stone brooch using a lot more than 4 prongs to set the stone, that always raises questions for me. It almost looks like it is amber, fossilized tree resin. However that could be reflections. Possibly you have a gemologist in your area.

Phil, thanks for the info. The stone is cut glass. I would like to find a gemologist, that's a great idea!
