As a big motor racing fan, this was too good to not haggle for. It's a bit moth-eaten at the edges and looks like it's had a hard life. However, as it shows the all conquering Porsche 962C in those stunning Rothmans colours, I had to have it. It measures about twenty inches tall by fourteen inches wide. It's perforated along its bottom edge, so that's where the spiral ring must have been holding the tear-off calendar sheets underneath. It's now with my framing guy, who'll do a magnificent job of positioning it to cover the chewed bits, making it into something I'll be proud to display. I love it and can't wait to see it framed and hung on my office wall.
Edit - Update. I received a message and photo from my framing guy yesterday that it's done and ready to collect. I'll pop over to his workshop today and collect it. It looks great in the frame.
Edit: 10th September. I collected the framed piece on Saturday and here's a photo that I think shows it off very well. I'm really pleased with all the effort and expense, as it's a great piece that's now rescued and fit for display.
