My MIL gave me this book to read to my son, she said she bought it years ago at a garage sale and has no use for it. I heard "Norman Rockwell" and said "Sure, I'll take it". It's from 1936 published by the Heritage Press, and as you can imagine, the illustrations there are phenomenal. The facial expressions, the emotions and interactions are so alive - Tom Sawyer doesn't get better than that. I may just have to find time to re-read the book just to enjoy the pictures =)
Fantastic classic edition of Tom Sawyer with the Rockwell illustrations, a book to be treasured forever. That beautiful doll certainly appears to be enjoying it!
