Pink blown glass vase 13 inches high. It’s signed at base C. Wellman. Very pretty when the light reflects off it. I’ve been able to locate only one other piece by this artist, but no information on the person or when this piece was made. If anybody is familiar with this artist, I’ll appreciate the information. Thanks for looking.

I am not familiar with the artist, but I believe this style of vase is referred to as “Jack in the Pulpit.”

Agree on the "Jack in the Pulpit" style.

I can't find anything on this artist. There is a multitude of glass artists since the 80s boom, and this simple, classic vase could be from any era.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I learned something new, never heard of Jack in the Pulpit style. But that’s spot on for this piece.

I have an oil painting by C. Wellman of Mt. Hood, 1967. The signature looks very similar to me. On the back it says "Mrs. Wellman, Mrs. Turtles neighbor in ___?__. With a little research we might figure out something about her.

Sorry. That should read "Tuttles" not "Turtles".
