Thrift shop find today. I think it wa $2.99. It is about 8" high and 7" wide, including the handle. As soon as I picked it up, I knew it was good glass, but had no idea what it was. I looked it over and didn't see any clues as to who the maker was, so I started to put it down. As I did, the light caught a faint mark inside the pitcher on the bottom. A "W" inside a "keystone". Old Westmoreland glass, made between 1910 and the mid 1940s. Schwing! It is absolutely mint. It does have some tiny air bubbles in the glass. Amber is not my favorite color, but this one is a deep, rich honey amber color. A nice old piece of glass. I took a dozen pictures trying to get an image of the Westmoreland keystone mark, but just couldn't capture it. It is there, though. Trust me. Mwahaha.

Now I need to go find four amber Colonial tumblers....

Thanks, TallCakes. Was the 1960s stuff marked in the glass with the Keystone mark? Guess they could have just used the old molds, eh?

from what I understand the keystone mark was also used on the reissued pieces in the 1960s. The early pieces had ground and polished bases, whereas the reissued did not.

Ugh, already put this away, but I think the bottom looked molded, not ground, so probably from the 1960s. Thanks!

Hopefully they reissued the tumblers, too!
