for my motivation to grab this little set for cheap (-er than the remaining yard sale price tag on the box) to join the other handful of similar fondue forks I already had. (which are mostly a set of yellow handled ones, so the extra color these can add will be a welcome addition to any 'display' of 'em all I might ever come up with...??) Similarly to the others, these are stamped "STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN" on their backsides. Unlike my musings when making the earlier posting of the others, I've come (again) to believe their handles are simply brightly colored plastic (instead of actual bakelite) due to their likely age. (1970's-ish,, when "fondue" suddenly became popular...) Obviously, one is now missing its actual handle.
OH, and I still don't yet actually own a fondue *pot* either...but oh, well, the hunt continues I guess...? <LOL>
Very nice! I have a similar set. I got it for free out of a dumpster at one of estate sales LOL Apparently the sales people didn't think it was worth the bother selling it.
Thanks much to AnnaB, Toyrebel, fortapache, Newfld, Caperkid, Brunswick, jscott0363, & racer4four for tapping the <love it> button for me! :-) :-) :-) Lucky for you/your set Anna -- I think I had to pay a whole $1 for these, but I would have gladly grabbed 'em from a dumpster instead if that'd had been the deal?!! <lol>
