Acquired some more Hubley cab/trailer rigs. The first one is a #507 Motor Express trailer with a cab over type truck from the 500 series. I've been looking for this for a while and got them for a fair price. I love van trailers, I had big set from some other manufacturer as a kid that was one of my favorite toys. I'm not sure how many different trailers came in this group, this makes 5 I have.
The second combo is from the smaller 400 series. Auto carrier with the standard cab in this group. Not sure if I'm going to use the cab with the auto carrier or the harder to find #493 log trailer I have. The auto trailer was produced for quite a while even after the Gabriel acquisition of Hubley. Both need restoring but are in decent shape. I'm backlogged on my restoring right now.
Thanks for viewing,

Nice trucks ,,,, keep on Truckin
They are marvelous and the scales are incredible for diecasts, i dont thing we had anything similar here in Europe.
Thank you both. These are from the mid fifties, Lata. They don't make them here anymore in this scale either. The big set is 18" long and the trailer is HEAVY!
Bit off the subject, but do you ever see Tommy Shaw (Styx). If you do, tell him hi for me, please.
I graduated the same year Tommy did at Lee. He did a gig here last year. I haven't seen him since he was playing at Kegler's Cove with Harmony in the early 70's. If I go to the '71 reunion in a few years, I'll give him your regards. 50 years ago, whew!
Hubley vehicles always look great. I saw a couple of their old planes recently that were in bad shape but still looked good.
Thanks Ftapache, the planes are nice and really hard to find in decent shape. The P-38 they made is my favorite one.
