Does anyone know what these tools are and from what era? I initially thought dentistry tools, but the flat handled one has The Bay shoe department on it; Google it, can't find it.

Probably late 1800 or early 1900's. My great grandmother had them.

This is a ladies' Dresser Set It look as if the nail care items are missing (such as a cuticle pusher, scissors, and a nail parer) and that random assorted extras have been inserted, i.e. the many buttonhooks and the cork screw.

I suspect the three items on the right with the plainer oblong ivory handles are the originals, and the other items are add-ons

I have a set from 1895-1900 that belonged to my great-grandmother. composed of celluloid and inlaid with metal accents. It includes a comb, natural bristle hair brush, nail scissors, nail parer, cuticle pusher, buttonhook, and a powder box with lid. It probably originally came in a case like yours, but that's long gone, as are perhaps other accouterments like a nail buffer .
