These two streamlined beauties, built by ALCO in the 1930s, fully reflect The Art-Deco movement.
Such builders' photos were passed out by the reps to potential buyers from other railroads. Each are about 8 by 3 inches (20 by 7.2Cm). Enlargement were kept at the ALCO offices, and were also issued to the railroads which bought the locomotives.
NYC Streamline Hudson "Dreyfuss" and Milwaukee "Hiawatha". Nice photos of some great engines.
