Sherman made a very similar if not identical cat but I think on this one there were other makers like Weiss that may have had an identical one also. I know that there were several makers who made the cat head.
Looking at the back of the cat head I am sure now it is not Sherman as they had the stones separated at the back. But very close from the front.
