This ring was comissioned by an Army Air Corps soldier at the end of World War II. The ring has an engraved AAC symbol along with the soldiers initials "C.L.C.". I have no information on the original owner.

Inside the ring is "Berlin 1945" along with the German silver standard stamp of "800".

I know it is REAL SILVER. I know that "German Silver" is not silver.

"German" identifies the COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. Most Silver made in Germany carries an "800" mark-- so it is a "standard mark" found in German MADE Silver.
