I am still on holiday in Derbyshire, and after visiting the Tramway Museum ( husband loved it!), we visited an old mill, that had a couple of Antiques shops in it. I spotted this pretty sundae / sherbet dish immediately and after checking if it glowed under uv light, I bought it, with the othe 5! Some have the odd chip, but most are in really good condition. Apparently they are from the 1940’s, as the seller said they were a Wedding present for the lady whose house she cleared. I think they are made by LE Smith and the pattern is called “By Cracky”.
Thanks Keramikos, for that info. I did think it would be older, but seller was adamant that it would have been bought new for a wedding present! She didn’t pick up that the dishes were uranium glass either!
Thank you for all the loves for these pretty Vaseline glass dishes. I've finally got round to unpacking the rest of the set, so have put some different pictures showing them all.
