Hello truth friends Collectors Community, 13-09-2018------2:00AM
I found this drift wood carving little more than a year ago at my local Value Village, I remember being there just when it's being carry out from the donation cart to be put on the shelve, I just grad from her hand before she be able to put down, I was amaze of the workmanship on this mask, even today I am blow away, I congratulated myself to be such a lucky guy.
The artist use a giant mushroom for the King crest, some thrift wood for the hair and horn, the face is carve in one piece and paint with leafs and branch's, finally glass eyes was put in place, some accent for decoration like Hawk&Blue Geai feathers on both side of the mask, I see many pieces of folk art in 40 years, this is among the most beautiful I ever seeing.
This Mask is 16 inches by 16.50 inches wide.
Many thanks for looking.
