Years ago, began research on Dugan after I found it classified as "unknown Czech" in a Passau Museum catalog, and when I visited the museum it was still there. Even as I write this, there is one on sale as Loetz.
I have decided to repost the information with this link to my research:

An article, co-written with Nancy Krupp, was published by David Doty.

Two points to be made: the founders, were cousins to the Wexford family; they consciously wanted to make "poor man's Tiffany," but their shapes were distinctly Czech.
Missing from this post is the Pompeian Starburst, which I will cover in a subsequent post. All vases are from my personal collection.
You should write an article for All About Glass with this topic. It's highly interesting, American, and probably a big surprise for many glass hounds.
How do I get in touch? Is that the West Virginia Museum publication??
These are great. An education for me! Thanks.
of course the West Virginia Museum of American Glass, sorry I did not see your question before, we don't get replies anymore by email.
