There is a number 163 on the bottom - looks as if it was originally an oil lamp -beautiful scene with 2 dubious animals - wolf & squirrel - fox & rabbit? Any insight would be appreciated!

Is this bronze, or what ?

It's a center draft banquet lamp, probably by Plume & Atwood. Very nice lamp!

This is absolutely wonderful, Looks to be maybe even spelter, hard to tell. The casting is quite crisp, suggesting a good maker.

Thank you - for the comments - I will start trying to track down whether it is a Plume & Atwood. I would just love to know more about it. There is a container behind the cherubs - I really don't know the material-
