Hello everyone!!
Our new CW friend malebrune just posted a couple of really nice Boston Bull Terrier doorstops, one of which has two openings on the bottom side. Here's one that I've had for several years that also has an opening on the bottom side. This is the only one in my collection like this.
He was made in the early 1900's. He once had a small advertising blanket on his back, but few of those survived. This one has two screws securing the two halves together (screw heads are concealed with spackle before painting took place). These were made by Hubley, National Foundry and possibly Albany Foundry. Not sure which one of them made this fellow.
Thanks to all for stopping in for a look!!
