I've had this pretty trio for a while, and while it has a British Registration Number on it, I can only find the date it was registered 1888. I can't read the writing above the rd number. There is a hand written number in red - 1206, which may be the pattern number. the floral pattern is coloured in imari colours. Has anyone any ideas on the makers?
Lovely pattern, and in such excellent condition for age
My guess would be Copeland/Spode. Looks like the maker’s name may have been there but removed? maybe not up to par
Thanks Arranlassie, that’s 2 comments thinking it’s Spode, so that’s great, and the registration date matches the date of your grandmothers wedding pretty well.
