They break a basement window, on the inside my Kralik showcase was put to the ground, many pieces break,:-(
Firefighters has to came inside and make lot of messes, scratches hardwood floor, carpet and trims, dent my front door.
They do their job, nobody injured but this event was a nightmare, I post few thing after, but I was very stressful at one occasion very bad with one member here, I shouldn’t came on CW at that time, I was very upset of what happen to me .
Shortly after this event, I have to go see my family doctor to get anti depressive pills.

In addition to my pain, I lost one Brother and one Sister in Quebec.

It’s take me quite a while and guts to talk about that here, but i have to get this done for my good fellowships with collector weekly, it’s like my other family here.
Many thanks for your supporting words, I do really appreciate that,, big time,
      Lata, Scott, SummerBlues and Kevin.
Lata not really matter that we don’t know each other, we part of this big community call human.
Yes Scott I agree, no one injure or died during this tragic event, material is replaceable.
SummerBlues, definitely way better then at the time, brain it’s like a big clock with complexity nerves and branching not hard to mess up when something like this happen.
Kevin, word not replace or straight out what happen, but good to hear.
To all of you thank you so much for the good thoughts
      Regards
      Alan

C’est comme ca la vie, un jour tu vole et le lendemain c’est de la schnoutte. Tu sais que les beaux jours reviendrons et c’est important de savoir que tu as des amis qui te supporte et qui t’encourage. Hang in there, mon ami!

For sure I hope the worsts is in the back trunk, thing start to straighten up for the catastrophic event.
It’s more difficult for my Brother and Sister lost, I do lot of meditations thinking about the good time we have togethers before moving to Ontario in 2005, after I move I visit many time, last summer and this year I didn’t go and this kind of press in my back right now, I feel kinda guilty about this.

Merçi bien Bob pour ses mots de réconfort, bien apprécié.
Vraie qu’une journée toute est rose et soudainement tous apparais noir.
Et bien oui j’entrevois la lumière à l’autre bout du tunnel.
      Sincerely Alan

Such sadness. I live in a house built in 1921 and it has 1921 wiring. I live in dread of this happening to me. May your future be bright.

Alan, I'm a new member but I quickly learned to watch for your posts and to appreciate the input you gave on other members' posts. Your items are always interesting and special so I cannot imagine your sense of loss. And even more devastating- the loss of your siblings- how tragic!
I wish you the best as you try to get thru this very awful time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Not so long ago I had a shelf collapse. It held most of my prized pieces. I was very sad, but, as my grandmother always said: More was lost in the war! In the end, most of these items can be replaced. What is truly a tragedy is the loss of your siblings. That is irreplaceable.

I will write in spanish because is difficult to explain the feeling about this. La sensación de inestabilidad en este mundo nos lo recuerda la naturaleza a cada hora. Es decepcionante saber que algo tan querido como esas colecciones de Kralik que tristeza infinita. Hope you can go through this
